So I just watched "He's Just Not That Into You." I'm just not into that movie. It was totally unrealistic. They talk about whether you are the exception or the rule...but why did 4/5 guys end up happy and in a relationship (or an implied relationship) by the end of the movie? That sure makes it seem like the rule. I thought it was crap. That's all I have to say about that.

I totally agree! I hated that movie. The Mac guy's epiphany in the end was completely unbelievable. So was Ben Affleck's, actually (if you're OK with not getting married, the guy will suddenly realize that he wants to marry you? What a horrible message!).

The book is good, though.

And the whole epiphany thing just gives you hope, like that really could happen! But the whole point of the movie is that the guy is NOT that into you.
The book was really good though!

OK, I'm the first to admit that I am an absolute SUCKER for a romantic comedy - even a bad one - but I too thought this movie sucked and that it really could have used a giant dose of realism. I really would have respected it more if the majority of the characters ended up without the Hollywood ending! Annoying!
